One of the most useful spring flowering plants, the flowers of Standard Dwarf Bearded irises create a dome of colour. The short stems produce between 3 and 5 buds and open from late March onwards, although most flower during May. In height they grow between 20cm to 41cm (16 inches). Grow at the front of a border, preferably near to the house where the early flowers will not be missed.
