Rings of hooked, silvery pink flowers are carried up stiff stems with beautifully scented, mid-green leaves. In time this will grow into a sturdy, upright plant. A great plant for bees and butterflies.
Like many Monardas this does best in a soil that does not dry out. In warm, moist summers - which in the case of the UK is most of the time - the leaves may be covered in mildrew. This will not harm the plant, but can look unsightly.
