Iris 'Buckwheat'

The large, mid-yellow flowers have primrose yellow standards and slightly deeper yellow falls with a faint greenish tinge. The petals are ruffled along the edges and the beards are the same colour as the falls. Raised by Monty Byers who specialised in twice flowering (remonting) irises. This does produce a second flush in August, but not every year. Worth a go though if you are looking for Remontant irises.
