Symphytum rubrum
(Comfrey)
My favorite Comfrey by far. In spring curling clusters of small, tubular, pinkish red flowers emerge from a clump of upright deep green leaves. Not at all invasive.

Upright plant
Hardy to -10 degrees or more, I've found this a little tricky to establish than other varieties of Comfrey, which grow happily in any soil in shade. I think this might need a better draining soil. A lovely plant non-the-less.
