Sambucus nigra f. porphyrophylla 'Black Lace'

I love this dark leaved shrub. The deeply divided, almost lacy, near black foliage makes a wonderful back drop for many perennials. The flowers are white, but rendered pink with large, pink stamens. These form a big, broad head that adds to the whole picture. The flowers are followed by red berries in autumn when the leaves become deep red. This is also called 'Black Lace'. Pot size 3 litre.
