A hardy perennial, this dies back in autumn and rises again in spring. Hardy to -10 degrees. Needs to be grown in a damp soil. Leave the seed pods to disperse and you will get more plants. Essentially plants for the bog garden, these require a soil that really does not dry out at all. Can be grown on the margins of ponds. Allow to set seed if you require seedlings.
