Polygonatum verticillatum 'Himalayan Giant'
(Soloman's Seal)
The tall stems, which stay upright, carry whorls of long, slender, mid-green leaves all the way up. Clusters of small, white bells with green tipped petals, appear at each junction of the stem and leaves. Later, in October, where the flowers were red berries appear providing cheerful contrast to the autumn-yellow leaves. Robust but apparently not invasive.
