One of the original Intersectional peonies, raised by Professor Itoh in Japan. Sadly he did not see the result of his labours. This produce very big, semi-double to double, frilly rich lemon flowers. A short plant, the flowers face outwards and are carried on short stems just above deeply divided, mid-green leaves.

Peonies will grow in most soils as long as they are not wet, including clay soils. They require a sunny or partially shaded site.
