Peony 'Calliope'

The wide, single flowers of deep rosy pink open to reveal a ring of golden stemans that surround a centre of raspberry red. The petals are lightly seer-suckered. Each bloom opens evenly just above a mound of handsome, mid-green leaves. The leaves are much finer than those of many woody peonies. Raised by Chow in Melbourne and introduced in 2005.
