Iris 'Such A Sweetheart'

An impressive plant with long, well-branched flower stems bearing beautifull shaped flowers. The palest pink standards don't open wide but sit demurely together. Below these sit white falls that are edged with tiny spots of violet. The standards also have purple mid-rib running up the petals and a few dots of purple here and there. The violet beards are brushed with orange and the flower is sweetly scent. A real delight.

Bearded irises need to be planted with the rhizome, or root, just above the soil. This is because the rhizome needs to be baked by the sun in order to form flowers. Make sure that there is not too much competition from surrounding plants and remove any weeds.
