Iris 'Insaniac'

Iris 'Insaniac'
  • Iris-insaniac
Although the basic colour of this attractive iris is white, others colours are spread over the ruffled, way petals. The edges are painted with a wash of gold. The falls, which flare outwards, are broadly veined with maroon, the colour slightly blending together towards the bottom of the petals. Each flower is carried on good, well-branched stems with more to follow.

Care advice

Bearded irises need to be planted with the rhizome, or root, just above the soil. This is because the rhizome needs to be baked by the sun in order to form flowers. Make sure that there is not too much competition from surrounding plants and remove any weeds.
