Upright plant
Siberian irises are tolerant of a wider range of soils than Bearded irises. The trick is to make sure they do not dry out when they are first planted. They do not need frequent division like bearded irises. Easy to grow in a soil that does not dry out. May take a year or two to reach its full potential.
