Iris 'Disguise'
A difficult colour to describe, all I can say that this is simply gorgeous and definitely sultry. The deep violet-rose standards are stained with purple from the base. The deep purple falls are so velvety they almost look black. On them sits burnt orange beards. A very ruffled flower.

Bearded irises need to be planted with the rhizome, or root, just above the soil. This is because the rhizome needs to be baked by the sun in order to form flowers. Make sure that there is not too much competition from surrounding plants and remove any weeds.
