Hardy to -10 degrees and more, the foliage dies back in autumn and emerges again in spring. Remove the old leaves before new ones start to show. Although hostas are prone to slugs this variety is less likely to be chewed heavily as it has thick leaves. Otherwise easy to grow in most situations.
