Herb Dill Annual

Nothing tastes quite as good as freshly picked herbs from your very own garden. Dill seeds are a common ingredient in pickles and sauces. It goes perfectly with fish dishes and can be mixed with mayonnaise to create a really tasty addition to a sandwich. It requires a site in full sun to give its best yield and will grow to a height of about 90cm (36"). Pack size: 500 Seeds. WHEN TO SOW All year round on a windowsill March to June outdoors. WHERE TO SOW Sow thinly direct outdoors where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½in) deep, into finely-prepared soil. Alternatively sow seeds in succession 1.5cm (1/2in) deep, in small pots of compost , lightly covering the seed with a sprinkling of compost on a warm light windowsill all year round. WHAT TO DO NEXT Thin outdoor seedlings to 20cm (8") apart. HARVEST Indoor crops all year round Outdoor crops from May. Pick a few leaves, as required, from each plant so that they regrow quickly.
