A hardy perennial this survives temperatures of -15 or more. The foliage is semi-evergreen, which means a lot of the leaves will die back in autumn. More will emerge again in spring. One of the most indestructible garden plants, these easily grown plants will grow in almost any situations except for heavy shade and soil that is permanently wet.
