A yellow flowered, short plant with daisy-shaped flowers, the petals frilly outwards like the edges of a skirt. In the centre sits a brown cone that rises up as the flower ages and turn yellow as the pollen emerges. The blooms are carried in quantities on straight stems with mid-green leaves.

A hardy perennial, this is hardy to -10 degrees or more. Likes a soil that retains some moisture, but not too much. Don't allow other plants to crowd the plant when first planted. Dies back in autumn and re emerges in spring. Divide every 3 years or so. Don't divide too small, but keep the plant in big clumps.
