Geranium x oxonionanum 'Claridge Druce'

(Hardy geranium)

Once upon a time (perhaps 40 years ago) this was one of the most popular and recognisable pink Hardy Geraniums. An easy to grow plant, the open, bright mid-pink flowers, which are viened with magenta, decorate a dense clump of large, mound of divided, mid-pink leaves. It is a cross between Geranium endressi and shade loving Geranium versicolor that will happily seed about and what I would call a 'Proper Cottage Garden Plant'

A hardy perennial, this means the leaves will die back in spring. These will survive temperatures of -10 degrees or more. This geranium will take some time to grow to its final size, but once established will need little attention. Cut back the autumn browned foliage before spring.
