Euphorbia ceratocarpa
(Horned spurge)
Small yellow-green flowers form lacy, broad heads. Carried on wiry, orange stems with slim, soft green leaves, this produces an airy, upright clump. Ideal for combining with blue or purple flowered perennials that are less rigid in habit.

Hardy to -10 degrees and more. The foliage drops off in autumn, leave the stems for a winter feature and cut down in spring as new shoots emerge. Wear gloves when doing this as some people react to the milky sap. Not good in heavy soils or where its very wet in winter. Good in a gravel garden
