Tall, much-branched stems with finely divided, fern-like leaves are topped with open, white flowers that are heavily stained with dark rose. In the middle are a few extra petals. Lovely planted in drifts. Will flower from July until the first frosts. A half-hardy annual. 100 seeds per pack.
SOW: February to March
WHERE TO SOW: Sow in trays of moist seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Prick off glasshouse seedlings into trays when large enough to handle 10cm apart. Gradually harden off before planting out in May 30-45cm apart.
