Clay Soil Plants
Clay soils can be wet and cold, making it difficult for some plants to grow. Many trees and shrubs are suited for these conditions, but some flowering perennials find it tricky to grow. Over the years I have had much experience with soil like this, so here is a collection of plants for clay soil that I find have grown well in these conditions. Many popular flowers are included in this collection, including perennial geraniums, astrantia flowers, and geums. When you buy this perennial collection online, please take a note of the plants, as by the time you receive them they may have changed. Featured plants run approximately from tallest (top left hand corner) to shortest (bottom right hand corner).
