Chaenomeles x superba 'Pink Lady'

This lovely shrub produces small, cupped, dark rose pink flowers along slender woody stems. As the flowers fade, round bright green leaves emerge to cover a bushy plant. This could be allowed to ramble in a border but it is better grown against a border where it will produces flowers on and off for many months. These are followed by small inedible fruits.
