Artemisia stelleriana 'Boughton Silver'

(Hoary mugwort)

A great, low-growing plant for dryer soils. The silver leaves are scalloped along the edges, rather like those of a chrysanthemum. Run them between your fingers and they feel like sort felt. Clusters of little white, pompom flowers are carried above the gently spreading foliage. Great for the front of a border in a place where silver foliage is required.
