Rosemary officinalis

Product
Now called bizarrely Salvia rosmarinus, this very recognisable sub-shrub is not only a fabulous culinary herb but a lovely garden plant. The aromatic little mid-green leaves, which are white underneath, grow on twiggy stems to create a bushy evergreen plant that can be used almost anywhere including for hedging. In late spring small, pale blue flowers appear.

Care advice

Will grow most places except water-logged soil and shady places. If it gets too big simply prune but not too hard.
