Hardy to -10 degrees and more, the foliage dies back in autumn and emerges again in spring. Remove old stems before the new foliage gets too big. Great for edging paths or front of borders. May take a little time to settle in but well worth it. Likes a soil that stays moist, but is well-drained. Good in an acid soil. Does like some leaf mould in the soil.
