The Plant Centre
We are currently planning a revamp of the sales area, so the front looks
rather deserted. However, you are invited to wander around the stock beds
to the rear of the Plant Centre. The gift shop offers a wide range of
gifts for gardeners and non-gardeners.
We move to the Edgebolton nursery from Shifnal in July 2006. The 5 1/2 acres site gives us plenty of room to expand!
The garden is situated behind the Cafe and has a cluster of lovely, mature trees, which will allow us to plant up woodland-loving plants. In front of these will be borders of perennials allowing visitors to see how plants develop. Behind we will be planting up a display area of peonies and irises.
The Cafe
Our small and cosy cafe serves tea, coffee, cakes & scones with cream or without. We also offer soup and sandwiches.
How to find Us
The Plant Centre and Garden Shop is located 7 miles north-east of Shrewsbury on the A53 (Shrewsbury to Newcastle-under-Lyne).
For those coming from the Midlands, take the M54 and the A5 to Shrewsbury, then follow the signs for the A53 from traffic island at the end of the main A5 dual carriage way. The Plant Centre is a mile past Shawbury on the right hand side.
