About
Herbaceous Peonies
Herbaceous peonies look fabulous with irises, hardy geraniums,
salvias and nepeta. They die back totally during the winter.
Plants are despatched bare rooted from November to March. Planting
instructions are sent with each order.
Planting
requirements
They require a sunny, well-drained soil. They do best in a soil
that more on the heavy side. Soils
that contain clay are ideal, providing it drains well. If
grown in a light sandy soil it is best to incorporate some very
well-rotted manure well before planting peonies. They also like
a lot of light and if planted in a shady situation may not flower
