At the moment (a week before the open day) the iris field is lacking in colour. We have only a few dwarf irises in bloom, but some of the very early TB's are beginning to show flowers stems (Iris 'English Cottage'). To find the flowers visitors will have to scour the field, so we will be putting on a FLOWER SHOW. Having said that the HOUSE GARDEN is looking very good, there will be lots of PLANTS for sale and TEAS will be served in the barn.
For those who want to know more about peonies, The Peony Society is holding it's first flower show at RHS Wisley in Surrey on Sunday 2nd June 2013 from 1pm. Claire will be talking about Intersectional Peonies at 2.30 pm.
